Considering urban planning as something other than a regulation or set of management techniques of space, it is possible to read the city (within the meaning of logos) in its form, its operation and symbolic. The city of origins is written as a symbolic example of an ideal (the circle / square or sacred / profane) who would live together equal and different. One of the founding texts of this approach is undoubtedly that of Françoise Choay entitled Semiotics and 19695.
